MIXED MEDIA: KEKE CRIBBS
Ceramic Glass Metal Wood Mixed Media
KeKe Cribbs

I have worked in glass and mixed media for over twentyfive years. Originally the glass was sandblasted and engraved, and now I work mostly with vitreous fired enamels on glass, and with slumped and fused colored glass. I also work with fired ceramics and colorful glazes which are suitable for tile work and lighting, and with hybridized concrete which lends itself to many sculptural and interior situations. I also use worked and patinated copper and gold leaf on many of the mixed media pieces.

Commissions have included doors, transoms, tile work in glass mosaic and ceramic tile, and a chandelier.

My work would be suitable for glittering glass mosaic surrounds in any part of a building, ie; fireplace, columns, walls. Both the ceramic and lighting possibilities are endless, as are window treatments. I also enjoy problem solving, and working with clients towards their vision.
